Bridal Looks

HERE COMES THE BRIDE. all dressed in white…and blue and METALLIC AND PINK

Annie Banks did a number on me! A beautiful white gown, a twinkling diamond ring, a tall dark and handsome, surrounded with loved ones from near and far; the dreams you have as a little girl when you think of your wedding day - or at least the dreams I had for myself after watching Father of The Bride on repeat at the age of 12. Were these dreams exceeded? Absolutely, I am blessed to say I had my fairytale beginning!

But truth be told, it does not come easily; there was blood (figuratively), there was sweat (emotionally), and there were tears (physically). We won’t go down that road today cause clearly there is an unspoken truth about the wedding planning process that many of you already knew about and some of you never warned me about. But ladies! No one thought to at least warn me about the outfits?! I didn’t think about all that went into wedding planning until about 8 weeks into our engagement.

You think one white gown and a bouquet is going to cut it? No, boo. You need 5 dresses, 4 pairs of shoes, 3 hairstyles, 2 makeup teams, and a partridge in a pear tree (and that’s not the end of it).

Your wedding brings other occasions into your life that mark important chapters of your journey to the altar (which means - of course - more fits to plan for). I wanted each look I wore to represent these occasions in their own unique way, while maintaining the beauty, elegance and timelessness that comes with a wedding and the fairytale I envisioned.

Click on the events below to see how I created a look that was special to me, and how you can create a look that’s special to you. Your bridal fairy godmother perhaps? Well, that’s up to you!
